Engagement Cupcakes!!

Yay! I am so excited that our family friends got engaged a couple of weeks ago, I’m so happy for them! To celebrate their news, we had a glass of champagne (or two!) and I baked some engagement cakes!

These cupcakes are white chocolate and cranberry and I chose to make some heart shaped toppers. The cupcakes are a vanilla sponge and each cupcake has white chocolate and cranberry pieces hidden inside. I then made a butter icing which I piped on top of the cakes and sprinkled with cranberry pieces followed by a drizzling of white chocolate over the top! I wanted to include as much red and pink as possible and of course I had to use love hearts!

I’m so happy I was able to celebrate this good news with everyone before heading back to uni! This is my last bake at home and I’m glad I was able to finish by baking something fun!
