“I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream (and strawberry biscuits)!”

Nothing beats sitting out with family and friends on a warm summers evening with an ice cream in hand, so this week I decided to make summer themed biscuits.

These biscuits are a simple vanilla biscuit which I iced using different coloured icing. I chose to make a fab ice cream, strawberries and ice cream in a cone. Initially I made stencils for each biscuit and then used them to cut out the biscuit shapes. I then made different coloured icing and piped it onto the biscuit shapes using piping bags.

Having made these vanilla biscuits before, this time I changed the recipe slightly and used new shapes and colours. These biscuits were fun to ice and decorate and if you want to try making these summery biscuits you can head over to the recipes page.
