Lemon Cupcakes...

Because yesterday was such a nice, warm day, I decided to bake some spring cupcakes. As I’ve decided to give up chocolate for lent my bakes will have to be chocolate free for now! So I decided to bake some lemon cupcakes.

I wanted to bake some bright, vibrant cupcakes and thought there was nothing better than lemon cupcakes. I made flower decorations using ready to roll white icing and yellow food die to finish each cake and I sprinkled each cake with lemon zest.

These cakes are perfect for this warm spring weather (which I hope lasts) and brought a smile to my housemate’s faces!
