Banana and Chocolate Cupcakes...

There’s nothing better than listening to music whilst baking away in the kitchen. This morning I decided to bake banana and chocolate cupcakes, one because my bananas were going off, so I thought this would be a good way to get rid of them and two, because I love banana and chocolate cupcakes!

I started by weighing out the dry ingredients and adding in the chocolate chunks, you can use chocolate chips, chunks, buttons, anything chocolatey will be absolutely fine! I then melted the butter, beat in the eggs and mashed the bananas before combining all the ingredients together. I kind of used an all in one method before mixing ingredients together to form a smooth mixture.

To decorate the cupcakes I chose to use chocolate butter icing as I wanted to create the contrast of a white sponge with a chocolate icing. I piped the icing on to the cupcakes before finishing them off with a drizzle of white chocolate, dried banana toppers which I made myself and milk chocolate chunks!
