There’s nothing quite like a classic iced biscuit at Christmas time. I loved decorating and icing these Christmas biscuits whilst listening to Christmas songs with a cup of tea.
I chose four different shaped Christmas biscuits including a Christmas pudding, Christmas tree, star and an angel. Not only did I want to decorate these with coloured royal icing I also wanted each biscuit to look identical. I got creative with these biscuits and came up with my own design for each one, making them that little bit more special. Having only made flower biscuits before I wanted to enjoy making these whilst ensuring they looked festive.
I ended up making 8 biscuits of each shape and iced each one so they were all the same. Although this was a time consuming process, my favourite part was icing the biscuits as I became quite a perfectionist once I started!
If you want to get involved and try making some festive biscuits for family, friends or even for yourself, there the perfect Christmas gift.
